Job summary

You will guide patients through pre-visit planning, check-in and check-out, and post-visit follow-up, coordinating with PCPs and billing to support timely care, exceptional service, and a respectful, compassionate patient

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-3 years in customer-facing roles (hospitality, retail, call center, or healthcare front desk).
• Experience with scheduling, check-in/out, payments, or reservations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in a friendly, professional manner; determine visit purpose and direct as needed.
• Review appointments, validate insurance eligibility in eCW, verify pharmacy information and PCP in Leap.
• Collect copayments and update demographic information; verify contact details in Availity.
• Perform check-in/check-out and ensure accurate documentation; confirm visit status and complete post-visit follow-up.
• Coordinate with providers and billing to prevent claim denials and ensure smooth patient flow; respond to inquiries.
