Job summary

Elk Ridge Community Health is seeking a Patient Relations Representative to greet patients, monitor the patient portal, verify demographics and insurance, and schedule follow-up appointments. You will collect payments, enter data into the EHR, and support front-desk operations.

In this role, you will ensure HIPAA-compliant communication, coordinate referrals, maintain accurate records, and assist with insurance follow-ups. Strong MS Office and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 7–11 months in data processing, clerical/administrative work or related field.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Level I fingerprint clearance card or ability to obtain it within seven working days.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check-in patients; monitor patient portal; verify demographics and insurance; enter data into EHR.
• Schedule telehealth and other appointments; answer calls and take messages for providers.
• Process mail; manage multiple provider schedules; ensure accurate documents are sent to the correct provider.
