Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 7–11 months in data processing, clerical/administrative work.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Level I fingerprint clearance card: valid or applied for within 7 working days.
• Preferred: Certification in data processing/clerical/administrative tasks.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets and check-in patients, monitor patient portal, verify demographics and insurance, and enter data into the EHR system.
• Scan documents daily.
• Schedule Telehealth and other internal appointments.
• Answer phones, schedule follow-ups, and relay messages.
• Maintain daily mail distribution and ensure documents reach the correct provider.
• Verify accuracy of charges and open tickets; provide back-up support for insurance follow-ups and referrals.
