Elk Ridge Community Health in Flagstaff, AZ, seeks a Patient Relations Representative to greet patients, verify demographics and insurance, and manage the patient portal. You will schedule follow-ups, collect payments, and ensure accurate data entry in the EHR/Practice Management system.

The role supports the organization’s mission to provide affordable, accessible care while maintaining HIPAA-compliant patient interactions and expert customer service.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 7–11 months in data processing, clerical/administrative work or equipment operation.
• Level I fingerprint clearance card in good standing or applied within 7 working days.

Responsabilidades

• Greet patients and check in; verify demographics and insurance; update data in the EHR/Practice Management System.
• Scan documents daily and manage referrals and health records as needed.
• Schedule Telehealth and other follow-up appointments; answer phones and coordinate appointments.
• Explain insurance benefits within HIPAA-compliant parameters to patients and families.
• Handle billing holds and open tickets; maintain patient portal communications and data accuracy.
