Job summary

Sanitas, a global healthcare organization, is seeking a Patient Representative Coordinator in Phoenix. The PRC is the first contact for patients, supporting pre-visit planning, check-in/out, and post-visit follow-up while maintaining confidentiality and engaging with staff.

You will demonstrate communication, organization, and problem-solving skills to ensure efficient operations and service excellence in a fast-paced clinical setting at our Medical Center.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• 1–3 years in customer-facing roles.
• Experience with scheduling, check-in/out, payments, or reservations.
• Ability to handle escalations professionally.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet patients and visitors in a friendly, professional manner.
• Perform check-in for scheduled and walk-in patients; verify appointments and collect copayments.
• Validate insurance eligibility and update patient information in the system.
• Monitor schedules to minimize wait times and ensure timely care.
• Complete check-out, review notes, and schedule follow-up visits.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and accurate medical records.
• Assist with office supplies and maintain a welcoming environment.
• Support in post-visit follow-up calls and patient experience initiatives.
