PRN - Physical Therapy Clinics is seeking a Patient Services Representative to deliver warm, professional front-desk service, schedule appointments, collect patient information, and verify insurance details.

You will work closely with clinical staff to ensure a seamless patient experience, maintain accurate records, and support front-office tasks while upholding a patient-centric culture.

This role emphasizes teamwork, communication, and attention to detail in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; healthcare administration education is a plus.
• Experience in a customer service role; healthcare setting preferred.
• Proficiency in using office software and scheduling systems.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling patient information and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients with professionalism and warmth.
• Schedule appointments and manage patient inquiries both in person and over the phone.
• Collect and verify patient information, insurance details, and necessary documentation accurately.
• Help create a positive work environment and clinic culture by ensuring the patient's needs are taken care of during transitional periods of therapy.
• Maintain patient records and ensure all documentation is complete and accurate.
• Assist in keeping front office area neat, tidy and organized.
• Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure seamless patient experience.
• Assist front office with front office tasks when down time occurs including answering the phone, scanning documents into charts, scheduling patients, taking over the counter payments, filing, faxing, etc.
• Liaise effectively between patients, clinical staff, and other departments within the facility.
• Communicate clearly and professionally to address patient concerns or questions.
• Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
• Assist in managing inventory and ordering office supplies as needed.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for process improvement.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of therapy areas and equipment. Daily equipment cleaning, cleaning tables, laundry, stocking supplies.
