Job summary

Riverside Medical Clinic is seeking a Patient Experience Liaison (Non-RN) to support the Call Center and practice by delivering excellent patient service while performing call center duties and maintaining productivity standards.

The role requires professional appearance, emotional stability, flexible scheduling, confidentiality, and the ability to handle referrals efficiently. Experience in medical offices and strong communication are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; strong written and verbal communication.
• Good typing and general clerical skills; medical terminology preferred.
• Two years of medical office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer all incoming calls promptly with a professional greeting.
• Maintain defined performance metrics per productivity standards.
• Schedule, cancel, and reschedule patient appointments per guidelines.
• Verify and update patient information; enter corrections into the system.
• Ensure patients are registered and information updated in the system.
• Take messages for staff; route messages per policy.
• Assist in cross-training clinic specialties for coverage.
• Process referrals and schedule patients from referrals or orders.
• Orient new patients to the Clinic and explain financial policies.
• Manage appointment requests from the MHC system.
• Assist supervisors with varied office duties as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
