Job summary

Humana Inc. CenterWell Senior Primary Care in Clarksville, TN is seeking a Receptionist 1 to welcome patients, manage front desk operations onsite, and support clinical staff in a compassionate, efficient environment.

Responsibilities include greeting patients by name, scheduling appointments, maintaining confidential EMR/CRM records, processing copays, handling calls, keeping the reception area tidy, and assisting with supplies and courier coordination.

Qualifications

• 1+ year healthcare customer service experience in retail, hospitality, or call centers also considered.
• Convey information and maintain a positive tone during calls.
• Experience coordinating tasks, resources, and schedules to ensure efficient workflow.
• Experience using MS Office tools for reporting, data analysis, and workflow optimization.
• Experience improving patient care and experience.
• TB screening is required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors warmly in person and over the phone, creating a welcoming and professional atmosphere.
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments, manage calendars, and collaborate with medical staff for efficient flow.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records using EMR and CRM systems.
• Update patient accounts and collect copays when needed.
• Handle incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information with empathy.
• Keep the reception area clean, stocked, and organized.
• Assist with supply orders, inventory management, and courier coordination.
