Job summary

Humana is seeking a Receptionist to greet patients, manage front desk operations, and support clinical staff. This onsite role reports to Center Administration and participates in Humana's TB screening program. You will handle scheduling, records, copays, and inquiries while maintaining a compassionate environment.

Location is onsite at Center Well Senior Primary Care in Henderson, NV, with typical hours Monday–Friday 8:00–5:00 and a full-time schedule, plus eligibility for a bonus plan.

Qualifications

• One year or more of healthcare, customer service or call center experience.
• Experience handling multiple phone lines and high call volume.
• Experience working in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams).
• Value-based care model experience.
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Experience with EMR Systems (Electronic Medical Records).

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors warmly, in person and over the phone.
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments, manage calendars.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records using EMR and CRM systems.
• Update patient accounts and collect copays when needed.
• Handle incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and provide general information.
• Keep the reception area clean, stocked, and organized.
• Help with supply orders, inventory management, and courier coordination.
