Job summary

Humana / CenterWell Conviva Senior Primary Care in San Antonio, TX, is seeking a friendly Receptionist to support front desk operations in a physician practice. You will greet patients, schedule appointments, answer inquiries, and help maintain accurate patient records in EMR/CRM systems.

The role emphasizes excellent customer service, organization, and teamwork, with a 40-hour work week and compensation in a base range plus eligibility for a bonus incentive plan.

Qualifications

• 1 year+ experience in healthcare or customer service preferred
• Excellent customer service and phone etiquette
• Strong organizational skills
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

• Greet Patients: Welcome patients and visitors, both in person and over the phone.
• Schedule Appointments: Manage appointment calendars and coordinate with medical staff to improve schedules.
• Patient Records: Maintain and update patient records in EMR/CRM systems.
• Billing and Payments: Ensure patient accounts are updated; may collect copay at visit.
• Inquiries and Communication: Answer calls, respond to patient inquiries, provide information.
• Office Management: Keep reception area tidy, sanitized, and stocked.
• Administrative Support: Assist with ordering supplies and managing office inventory.
