Job summary

Oak Street Health in West Virginia is seeking a Welcome Coordinator to create an inclusive environment and be the face of the clinic. You will perform check-in, assist with required forms, collect co-pays, and update patient information in our EMR system.

This full-time role includes scheduling, managing phone lines, processing faxes, and supporting center operations to deliver an unmatched patient experience. Fluency in multiple languages is valued; US work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• Strong computer skills are required and basic knowledge of Google Suite.
• Professional phone etiquette is essential.
• Fluency in Spanish, Polish, Russian, or other languages spoken by our communities is preferred where necessary.
• US work authorization is required.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming patients and guests.
• Check-in and assist patients with required forms.
• Collect co-pays.
• Update patient information and modify records in the electronic medical record platform.
• Schedule or reschedule appointments in the EMR platform.
• Manage phone lines, take messages, and conduct outbound calls as instructed.
• Handle faxes in the electronic fax platform.
• Maintain cleanliness of Welcome and Community Room areas.
• May float to other centers in the region on an infrequent basis.
• Other duties as assigned.
