Job summary

Oak Street Health is seeking a Welcome Coordinator to create an inclusive and friendly environment for patients and guests. You will manage check-in, collect co-pays, and update patient records in our EMR system, while supporting daily clinic operations to deliver an exceptional patient experience.

This role requires strong computer skills, professional phone etiquette, and the ability to communicate in Spanish, Polish, Russian, or other community languages where needed.

Qualifications

• Strong computer skills and basic knowledge of Google Suite.
• Experience in customer service setting.
• US work authorization required.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming patients and guests.
• Conducting visit check-in and assisting patients with required forms.
• Collecting co-pays and updating patient information in EMR.
• Scheduling/rescheduling appointments in the EMR system.
• Managing phone lines and outbound calls as needed.
• Handling faxes in the electronic fax platform.
• Maintaining cleanliness of Welcome and Community Room areas.
• Occasional regional float to other centers.
