Job summary

EyeCare Partners is seeking a Front Office Specialist to be the first point of contact and support a world class Total Patient Experience. You will manage check-in/out, greet patients, and handle phone inquiries with a professional, friendly demeanor.

The role requires attention to detail, basic office software proficiency, and the ability to manage daily patient flow while maintaining HIPAA compliance and accurate reconciliations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year in a position interacting with customers/patients.
• Previous medical office experience preferred; ophthalmic experience strongly preferred.
• Background check as required by state; provide proof of identity and right to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly and deliver excellent service at every encounter.
• Answer phones and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Manage patient flow and assist with check-in/out efficiency.
• Double check insurance authorizations to ensure completion and accuracy of flow sheets.
• Complete daily reconciliations, close the day, and countdown cash drawer.
• Comply with HIPAA and company policies; assist with general office duties.
