Job summary

Stanton Optical, part of Now Optics, is hiring for an on-site Doctor’s Technician/Customer Service role at our Madison, WI store. You will greet patients, support the transition from clinical services to retail, facilitate sales, and help deliver an excellent patient experience.

You will collaborate with the retail and clinical teams, schedule and document patient information, perform basic tests, assist with repairs and eyeglass edging, and uphold brand standards while keeping patients informed

Qualifications

• Associate degree or advanced certification required or pursuing
• 2+ years delivering outstanding customer service to patients/customers
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with diverse groups
• Active listening, rapport-building, empathy, and effective problem solving
• Collaborative mindset with ability to multitask and adapt to changing needs
• Passion for customer satisfaction and a positive demeanor

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and customers as they enter the store and identify needs to ensure a memorable experience while promoting products and services.
• Foster strong partnership between retail and professional services teams.
• Schedule appointments, document patient history, perform basic pre-tests, and collect medical history.
• Assist management with patient concerns and ensure expectations are met; maintain brand standards and housekeeping as needed.
• Assist with eyeglass edging, lens edging, and timely delivery of orders while ensuring accuracy.
