Job summary

Claremedica in Florida seeks a Patient Care Concierge to welcome patients, manage front desk operations, schedule appointments, check in/out, and coordinate with medical staff to deliver excellent patient care.

Ideal candidates have 1 year of medical or customer-service experience, strong communication and organizational skills, and familiarity with EMR systems. BLS is preferred; HIPAA compliance is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and/ or experience.
• Minimum 1 year of work experience in a medical clinic or customer service.
• BLS certification preferred.
• Strong oral and written communication, time management and organization.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; experience with EMR systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interact with patients and visitors in a polite and friendly manner.
• Greet guests and assist at the front desk.
• Register new patients, check-in and check-out.
• Answer phone calls professionally and take detailed messages.
• Manage provider schedules, including appointments and rescheduling.
• Verify patient demographics, insurance information, and collect copays.
• Maintain front office and lobby area; ensure space is tidy.
• Protect patient privacy and HIPAA compliance.
