Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of medical clinic or customer service experience.
• BLS certification preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Strong time management and organizational skills with multitasking ability.
• Ability to communicate professionally with patients and staff.
• Willingness to travel locally up to 10% as needed.

Responsibilities

• Interact with patients and visitors in a polite and friendly manner.
• Greet every guest entering the center and assist as needed.
• Register new patients, manage check-in and check-out.
• Answer phone calls professionally and take accurate messages.
• Maintain the Provider’s schedule by scheduling, rescheduling, and confirming appointments.
• Verify patient demographics and insurance information and collect copays.
• Process end-of-day reconciliation reports and report cash to leadership.
• Send detailed Telephone Encounters to the appropriate parties.
• Scan documents into the EMR and manage incoming faxes.
• Restock supplies and keep front office neat and organized.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and participate in daily huddles.
• Solicit patient feedback surveys at checkout and escalate as needed.
