Job summary

Oak Street Health in Houston is seeking a Welcome Coordinator to create an inclusive environment for patients. You will greet guests, assist with forms, and manage the front desk and EMR systems to ensure a seamless experience.

The role requires strong computer skills, bilingual abilities, and flexibility to support multiple centers. You will be part of a Service Team led by the Practice Manager, delivering high-touch patient care and coordinating with clinical staff to keep operations running

Qualifications

• Professional phone etiquette is required.
• Strong computer skills are required.
• Fluency in Spanish, Polish, Russian, or other languages spoken by the communities we serve.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming patients and guests.
• Check-in and assist patients with required forms.
• Collect co-pays.
• Update patient information in EMR.
• Schedule/reschedule appointments in EMR.
• Answer and route phone calls; outbound calls as instructed.
• Manage faxes in the EMR fax system.
• Maintain cleanliness of Welcome and Community Room areas.
• May float to other centers in the region occasionally.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
