Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking a Patient Concierge to serve as a patient advocate, creating an exceptional experience and driving a patient-centric culture.

You will perform check-in/check-out, scheduling, registration, and real-time eligibility verification while addressing patient inquiries with empathy. The role involves assisting with MyChart education, handling payments, and supporting practice operations.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• One year of practice-based healthcare or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and compassion in patient interactions.
• Familiarity with scheduling, pre-registration, and registration processes.

Responsibilities

• Engage patients in a polite, prompt, and compassionate manner during all interactions.
• Handle check-in/check-out, consent, pre-registration, eligibility verification and scheduling as applicable.
• Provide MyChart education and assist with appointment/testing scheduling.
• Assist with real-time payment collection and patient inquiries.
• Support practice opening/closing, cleanliness, mail processing, and supplies handling.
• Coordinate with Access Center team to address time-sensitive scheduling and clinical inquiries.
