Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking a Patient Concierge to advocate for patients and create an exceptional experience while supporting practice-based administrative and patient services.

The person will engage patients, perform check-in/check-out tasks, assist with scheduling and education, and help maintain a welcoming environment across the Bethlehem Campus. High school diploma required; healthcare or customer service experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• Preference given to graduates of administrative training programs.

Responsibilities

• Engages patients in a polite, prompt, and compassionate manner during all practice-based patient interactions.
• Performs clerical service delivery functions with patients, including check-in/check-out, pre-registration and real-time eligibility verification, registration, MyChart education, and scheduling.
• Delivers waiting room concierge service and supports patients using the kiosk check-in process.
• Supports practice opening/closing, cleanliness, mail/deliveries, cash management and faxes processing.
• Assists other team members by addressing in-basket clerical messages and coordinating with Access Center teams.
