Confluent Health, LLC and its affiliated brands are seeking a Care Coordinator to create a welcoming first impression at the front desk in our Austin clinic. You will manage patient check-in/out, scheduling, insurance verification/authorization, and phone inquiries while maintaining privacy and HIPAA standards.

You’ll work in a fast-paced environment, using EMR navigation and scheduling workflows with comprehensive training provided.

Competenze

High School Diploma or GED required.
At least one year of customer-facing or patient-facing experience.
Able to manage multiple tasks while staying organized and detail-oriented.
Comfortable communicating on the phone with patience and professionalism.
Basic computer proficiency: learning scheduling software, emails, and spreadsheets.
No prior medical experience required; training provided including EMR navigation and insurance basics.

Mansioni

Create a welcoming, professional first impression for patients, visitors, and referral sources.
Handle front desk operations: check-in/out, scheduling, insurance verification/authorization, and phone calls.
Review and follow up on referrals by gathering information and updating patient records.
Keep patient flow moving by confirming appointments and managing waitlists and cancellations.
Collect copays and other payments accurately, with basic tracking or reconciliation.
Uphold HIPAA standards in all front desk interactions and documentation.
