Job summary

Valeris is seeking a dedicated Patient Support Specialist in Santa Fe, NM to build trusted relationships with patients, explain coverage options, and assist with enrollment and reimbursement processes. You will navigate healthcare regulations, coordinate with payers, and ensure high-quality service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Customer service in healthcare is preferred.
• Ability to work an 8.5-hour shift within 8 am–9 pm, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain trusted patient relationships with proactive communication.
• Explain coverage options and billing clearly to patients.
• Document patient enrollment and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Address inquiries and de-escalate challenging situations professionally.
• Coordinate payments, benefits investigations and reimbursements where needed.
