Job summary

Valeris is seeking a patient support coordinator to build trusted relationships with patients, explain coverage options, and navigate healthcare processes. The role emphasizes compliance with laws, proactive communication, and the ability to guide patients through complex benefit information.

The position requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent, strong customer service in healthcare, and bilingual abilities as a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree strongly preferred or equivalent experience.
• Customer service and healthcare industry experience preferred.
• Ability to work an 8.5-hour shift between 8 am to 9 pm, Monday to Friday.
• Bi-lingual in English and Spanish or Chinese/Mandarin is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain trusted relationships with patients, delivering timely and accurate services.
• Ensure all interactions comply with healthcare laws and regulations.
• Explain coverage options and benefits to patients clearly.
• Conduct program welcome calls to orient patients to available services.
• Use motivational interviewing techniques to support patient goals.
• Handle complex inquiries and provide accurate information.
• Document patient enrollment and maintain records in the Lynk system.
• Provide education on products, treatment plans, and financial assistance resources.
• Coordinate shipments of products through patient assistance programs.
