Job summary

Valeris is looking for a Bilingual Benefits Specialist to provide exceptional support to patients and healthcare providers in navigating complex medication access. Responsibilities include benefit verifications, prior authorizations, and patient assistance enrollment, primarily in a customer service environment.

The ideal candidate should have customer service experience, healthcare knowledge, and fluency in both Spanish and English. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and a 401(k) with matching contributions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of customer service, payer benefits, or healthcare experience.
• Typing speed of at least 35 words per minute with 97% accuracy.
• Ability to use standard office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient level benefits verifications for medical and pharmacy plans.
• Review and determine eligibility for patient assistance enrollment forms.
• Answer inbound calls and resolve customer inquiries efficiently.

Skills

Fluency in Spanish and English

Customer service experience

Healthcare industry experience

Education

Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred

High school diploma or GED required
