Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Two years of experience as a Patient Service Rep in outpatient medical offices preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides outstanding customer service through intake, prioritization, and resolution of calls for a multi-specialty team.
• Greets patients and resolves issues or escalations.
• Check-in/out patients, collect co-payments, issue receipts, and reconcile payments; verify demographics and insurance data in CS-Link.
• Schedule appointments, complete patient registration, collect payments, and maintain high standard of service.
• Assist with physician schedule management and patient/provider correspondence as instructed.
• Process and track referrals and authorizations for various insurances.
• Manage patient care flow and monitor CS-Link message pools and standard work.
• Assess own workflow and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Explain policies and services to patients using administrative knowledge.
• Participate in daily huddles and staff meetings.
• Promote infection prevention standards and department policies.
