Qualifications

• Two years of experience in a Patient Service or front desk role in outpatient settings.
• Provide friendly, professional service and resolve patient questions.
• Verify patient demographics and insurance information accurately in the system.

Responsibilities

• Provides outstanding customer service through intake, prioritizing, and resolving patient needs for a multi-specialty team.
• Greets patients and assists with resolving patient issues.
• Check-in and out patients, collect co-payments, issue receipts, and reconcile payments; verify data in CS-Link.
• Schedules appointments, completes patient registration, and collects payments.
• Assists with physician schedules and handles patient/provider correspondence.
• Processes and tracks referrals and authorizations for various insurance types.
• Manages patient flow and monitors CS-Link message pools and standard work.
• Monitors own workflow to find opportunities for improvement.
• Explains policies, procedures, or services to patients using administrative knowledge.
• Participates in daily huddles and staff meetings.
• Promotes infection prevention standards and all department policies.
