Qualifications

• Two years of experience in outpatient medical office setting preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides outstanding customer service through intake, prioritizing, and resolution of calls for a multi-specialty team.
• Greets patients and assists with resolving patient issues.
• Check-in and out patients, collect co-payments, and verify demographic/insurance data in CS-Link.
• Schedules appointments, completes patient registration, collects payments, and maintains high service standards.
• Assists with physician schedules and identifies opportunities for improvement; handles patient/provider correspondence.
• Processes and tracks referrals and authorizations for various insurance types.
• Manages patient care flow and monitors CS-Link message pools and standard work.
• Monitors own workflow to find opportunities for improvement.
• Explains policies, procedures, or services to patients using administrative knowledge.
• Participates in daily huddles and staff meetings.
• Promotes and enforces infection prevention standards and department policies.
