Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provides outstanding customer service through intake, prioritization, and resolution of calls for a multi-specialty team.
• Greets patients and assists with resolving patient issues or escalating concerns.
• Check-in and check-out patients; collect co-payments; provide receipts; reconcile payments; verify demographics and insurance data in CS-Link.
• Schedules appointments; completes patient registration; collects payments; maintains high standard of patient service.
• Assists with physician schedules and looks for opportunities to improve scheduling and workflow; handles patient/provider correspondence.
• Process and track referrals and authorizations for various insurance types.
• Manages patient care flow and assists with CS-Link message pools and standard work.
• Monitors own workflow and identifies opportunities for improvement.
• Explains policies, procedures, or services to patients using administrative knowledge.
• Participates in daily huddles and staff meetings.
• Promotes infection prevention standards and department policies and procedures.
