MainStreet Family Care in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Patient Greeter to be the friendly first contact for patients. You will guide guests through the check-in process, answer questions, and help them navigate the self-service kiosk, while remaining calm and helpful across various situations.

The role includes cross-training as a Medical Assistant to provide clinical support when needed, contributing to a smooth patient flow and a positive clinic experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Friendly, approachable, and patient-focused personality.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable working with people of all ages and backgrounds.
• Comfortable learning and assisting with technology, including self-service kiosks.
• Basic computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to remain calm and helpful with frustrated patients.
• Willingness to complete Medical Assistant cross-training.

Responsabilités

• Welcome patients and create a friendly first impression.
• Direct patients through check-in and registration.
• Assist with questions about self-service kiosk.
• Troubleshoot kiosk navigation and form completion.
• Explain required information for registration.
• Set expectations for check-in without completing registration.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming front-of-clinic area.
• Communicate needs to the clinical team.
• Support smooth patient flow within the clinic.
• Cross-train as Medical Assistant and maintain competency.
• Assist with MA duties when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
