Job summary

MainStreet Family Care is seeking a Patient Greeter in Gastonia, NC. You will be the friendly first contact, help patients navigate the check-in process, and support with kiosk usage. Greeters are cross-trained as Medical Assistants to provide clinical support when needed.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, excellent communication, and comfort with technology. The schedule is rotating, with hours posted by the clinic, and benefits include health, dental, vision, 401K, and PTO.

Qualifications

• Friendly, approachable and patient-focused personality.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable learning and assisting with technology, including self-service kiosks.
• Basic computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and create a friendly, positive first impression
• Greet patients and direct them through check-in process
• Assist with questions about self-service check-in and registration kiosk
• Provide guidance when patients have difficulty using the kiosk
• Explain information needed to complete registration
• Ensure patients understand what to expect during check-in
• Maintain a clean, welcoming front-of-clinic area
• Coordinate with clinical team for additional patient needs
• Help maintain smooth patient flow in the clinic
• Cross-train as Medical Assistant and be competent in related clinical duties
• Assist with Medical Assistant duties when needed
• Perform other duties as assigned
