Job summary

MainStreet Family Care in Gastonia, NC is seeking a friendly Greeter to be the first point of contact for patients. You will welcome patients, answer questions, and guide them through check-in and registration; Timely support and cross-training as a Medical Assistant enable you to assist clinically when needed.

The role emphasizes patient experience, clear communication, and helpful, calm support in a busy clinic environment. Training provided; rotating schedule; benefits included.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Friendly, approachable, patient-focused personality.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable working with people of all ages/backgrounds.
• Comfortable learning and assisting with technology, including self-service kiosks.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and create a friendly first impression.
• Greet patients and direct them through check-in.
• Assist with questions about self-service check-in and registration kiosk.
• Provide guidance when navigating the kiosk and registration info.
• Ensure patients understand required information for registration.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming front-of-clinic environment.
• Communicate with clinical team for additional assistance.
• Support smooth patient flow and assist MA duties when needed.
