Job summary

OSS Health seeks a friendly Greeter to welcome patients and visitors at the main entrance, guiding them to the correct care areas and checking them in for appointments. The role requires knowledge of emergency response procedures and the OSS Health service lines.

The ideal candidate can handle high-volume calls, use a computer and EMR system proficiently, and communicate professionally with patients and staff. OSS Health offers a supportive team environment and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Must work efficiently in a high-volume practice.
• Must be personable and friendly at all times and able to work as a team member.
• Must be able to effectively use a computer and telephone system.
• Must have professional and effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Experience in medical reception or customer service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients, family members and visitors in a professional, courteous manner at the main entrance.
• Answers incoming calls and provides information or transfers as needed.
• Initiates emergency operations and follows hospital procedures for emergencies.
• Ensures patients know OSS Health services and directs them appropriately.
• Receives patient forms, scans and processes electronically through EMR and forwards to the correct department.
• Performs miscellaneous clerical duties and data entry tasks.
