Job summary

OSS Health in Spry, PA is seeking a friendly Greeter to welcome patients and visitors at the main entrance. You will guide them to care areas, verify arrival status, and support the front-end workflow with a calm, professional presence.

The role requires strong customer service, basic computer and phone skills, and the ability to handle high patient volume with composure. Training is provided, and the position offers steady hours and a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in medical reception or customer service preferred.
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume practice.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, families, and visitors at the main entrance.
• Answer calls and transfer to correct area.
• Initiate emergency operations and follow hospital policies.
• Know OSS Health services to direct patients accurately.
• Process patient forms electronically in the EMR system.
• Inform the Patient Access Coordinator of unusual occurrences.
• Navigate the Electronic Medical Record system.
• Print Census reports for physician visits and schedules.
• Attend staff meetings as scheduled.
• Other duties as assigned.
