Job summary

Valeris in the United States seeks a patient services coordinator to build trusted relationships with patients, provide accurate reimbursement guidance, and ensure compliant communications. You will welcome patients to programs, explain coverage options, and coordinate resources with internal teams and external providers to support adherence and outcomes.

Ideal candidates have strong customer service experience, healthcare familiarity, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Customer service and healthcare industry experience strongly preferred.
• Able to work an 8.5-hour shift between 8 am to 9 pm, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain trusted relationships with patients through proactive communication.
• Ensure all interactions comply with healthcare laws and regulations.
• Explain benefits, reimbursement, and coverage to patients clearly and accurately.
• Conduct program welcome calls and explain available services and resources.
• Engage patients using motivational interviewing techniques to support treatment goals.
• Document patient enrollment and maintain accurate records in Lynk system.
• Provide information about products, including treatment costs and financial assistance resources.
• De-escalate challenging situations with professionalism and empathy.
• Coordinate shipment of products through patient assistance programs when needed.
