Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group USA company, is seeking a Patient Services Manager for a 217-bed hospital with a 98-bed rehab center in Belleville, IL. This shift-based leadership role oversees patient food services and a team of 30+ associates.

Responsibilities include coaching staff, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving patient satisfaction through dietary accuracy and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Associate degree with 1 year work experience in food services or related field, or bachelor’s degree in food service technology/management or related field
• Certified Dietary Manager preferred
• Minimum of one year experience in food service management preferred in an acute care setting
• Possess the necessary skills to effectively utilize Microsoft Office applications, electronic medical records, and diet office systems

Responsibilities

• Establishes goals and oversees implementation of patient food and tray services based on medical direction and patient population
• Hires, directs, coaches, trains, and develops patient service team members
• Complies with dietary restrictions to ensure patient food preferences meet diet orders
• Ensures patient services staff assists in achieving patient satisfaction goals
• Complies with regulatory standards including HIPAA and patient rights policies
• Participates in patient satisfaction programs and quality improvement initiatives
