Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, and maneuver and push food delivery carts.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand their menu selections and coordinate with nursing to ensure orders meet nutritional requirements.
• Collaborate with caregivers and culinary team to offer menu alternatives for allergies, cultural, ethnic, or religious preferences.
• Assemble meals according to each patient’s menu choice and retrieve trays from rooms on time.
• Follow HIPAA policies and maintain patient confidentiality and safety.
• Monitor HACCP guidelines and maintain clean workstations and tray lines.
