The role involves helping patients with menu selections, assembling and delivering meals, and supporting the caregiving team to ensure safety and satisfaction.

Applicants should have prior customer service experience, be able to read and write in English, possess basic computer skills, and be able to lift up to 100 pounds as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand their menu selections and ensure orders meet nutritional requirements.
• Determine menu alternatives for allergies, preferences, and restrictions.
• Assemble meals and retrieve trays on schedule for delivery to patient rooms.
• Follow HIPAA, HACCP, and sanitation guidelines and assist dietitians as needed.
• Communicate issues to appropriate staff in a timely manner.
• Complete required daily, weekly, or monthly reports.
