Job summary

Morrison Healthcare is hiring Patient Dining Associates (Dietary Aide) for both full-time and part-time roles at Palm Bay Hospital. The positions involve helping patients with menus, assembling meals, and delivering trays, with rotating weekends and shift coverage from early morning to evening.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, as well as maneuver and push food delivery carts.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand their menu selections and work with nursing to ensure orders meet nutritional requirements.
• Determine menu alternatives for allergies, cultural and religious preferences.
• Assemble meals and retrieve trays on schedule.
• Follow HACCP, HIPAA, and confidentiality policies.
• Assist dietitians with monitoring patients on certain diets.
• Communicate problems or concerns with patients to appropriate staff.
• Complete daily/weekly/monthly reports as outlined by Morrison policies.
• Comply with health and sanitation regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
