Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand menu selections and coordinate with nursing for dietary needs.
• Assemble, deliver and pick up meal trays on assigned units.
• Follow HIPAA and patient rights policies; maintain confidentiality.
• Adhere to HACCP guidelines and sanitation standards.
• Assist dietitians in monitoring patients with special diets.
