Job summary

Northwest Eye Surgeons, Inc. is seeking a Patient Concierge Supervisor to lead patient services teams, oversee check-in/check-out, and coordinate records across clinics.

This role focuses on delivering a welcoming, efficient patient experience and ensuring smooth daily operations. You will supervise staff, participate in hiring and training, improve workflows, manage patient flow, and ensure insurance pre-authorizations and coding knowledge are up to date.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Three to five years in a healthcare setting.
• At least two years of supervisory or management experience.
• Strong leadership, collaboration, and conflict resolution skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and lead a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Commitment to patient-centered service and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Oversee patient concierge operations, including check-in/check-out and medical records.
• Coordinate surgery-related processes in satellite clinics.
• Supervise employees in accordance with policies and laws.
• Participate in interviewing, hiring, orientation, and staff training.
• Plan, assign, and direct daily work activities.
• Conduct performance evaluations and address employee concerns.
• Develop and improve workflows and monitor productivity.
• Manage patient flow and staffing coverage.
• Ensure insurance pre-authorizations, referrals, and coding knowledge.
• Train staff on policies, insurance requirements, and EMR systems.
