Citizens Medical Center in Victoria, TX seeks a Patient Services Specialist - Urology Clinic (FT) to welcome and direct patients, screen calls, and check patients in and out. You will collect co-pays and process referrals while maintaining accurate demographics and insurance information in the EMR.

This role requires strong communication, basic computer skills, and willingness to travel to satellite clinics.

Formación

• High School education or GED required (or equivalent).
• At least one year of experience in a healthcare-related field.
• Current Texas Driver's License required.
• Basic computer skills and effective communication are required.
• Willingness to travel to satellite clinics.

Responsabilidades

• Greet and direct all incoming calls to the appropriate area.
• Check-in and register patients in and out accurately and efficiently.
• Verify and update patient demographics.
• Obtain, confirm and enter patient insurance information.
• Schedule and pre-register patients according to clinic protocol.
• Prepare charts and print encounter tickets prior to patient visit.
• Confirm appointments and document responses in the EMR.
• Receive and upload lab, imaging, and other results into the patient’s chart.
• Collect outstanding balances and co-pays.
• Reconcile cash drawer per guidelines.
• Process appointment-based referrals.
