Speech Therapy Plus LLC is seeking a friendly Patient Coordinator to be the first point of contact for clients and families. You will manage appointments, coordinate schedules, maintain records, and support clinicians to ensure timely, high-quality care in a welcoming environment.

This in-person role in Fair Lawn, NJ requires strong communication, organizational skills, and a commitment to customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience in front desk, patient coordinator, administrative or customer service roles.
• Familiar with scheduling software/EMR; WebPT is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; quick to learn new software.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication; friendly and professional.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Welcome clients and families with a warm, professional first impression.
• Coordinate and manage therapy schedules to optimize therapist availability.
• Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments; communicate with clients and therapists.
• Answer calls, respond to emails, assist with scheduling inquiries.
• Maintain accurate client records using the scheduling system.
• Collaborate with therapists and staff to align schedules with client needs.
• Monitor schedules to fill open times and maximize productivity.
• Maintain client confidentiality per HIPAA and company policies.
• Assist with general front office duties to support daily operations.
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment and exceptional client experience.
