Professional PT, a leading provider of physical, occupational, and hand therapy in the Northeast, is seeking a dedicated Patient Care Coordinator to be the first point of contact for our patients and ensure a positive experience.

The role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service, assisting with scheduling, insurance discussions, and daily administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment at our Commack location in New York.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior customer service or administrative experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients
• Answer phones
• Schedule patient appointments
• Complete new patient registration and data entry
• Discuss insurance benefits, authorization requirements and payment responsibilities
• Collect patient balances (copay/deductible/coinsurance)
• Perform standard day-to-day clinical administrative responsibilities
