Job summary

CityMD is seeking a Patient Service Representative to warmly welcome patients, register them, and coordinate with the care team for timely service. You will respond to questions with urgency and kindness, handling paperwork and interactions across in-person and phone channels.

The role emphasizes accuracy in data entry, insurance verification, and strong customer service in a fast-paced healthcare setting. Located at a CityMD site in New Jersey, on-site work is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in high-volume service environment preferred.
• Ability to interact effectively with patients and staff.
• Bilingual skills based on site location preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients.
• Coordinate patient intake and appointments.
• Enter/update patient information in system.
• Assist patients with completion of paperwork.
• Scan and file medical records.
• Answer phone calls courteously and promptly.
• Verify insurance eligibility and liaise with Billing as needed.
• Handle cash and co-payments accurately.
• Provide outstanding customer service to every patient.
