Job summary

Now Optics d/b/a Stanton Optical Brand is a fast-growing optical retailer focused on affordable eyewear and a superior patient experience. The Doctor’s Technicians role supports both retail and clinical services, delivering friendly service, facilitating sales, and maintaining high brand standards in-store.

Responsibilities include greeting patients, scheduling and documenting exams, assisting in the lab, and ensuring timely delivery of eyewear.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or advanced certification beyond high school required (or currently enrolled).
• Minimum 2+ years of delivering outstanding customer service.
• Strong communication with diverse groups; active listening and empathy.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt to changing business needs in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers entering the store and identify needs to ensure a memorable experience.
• Foster collaboration between retail and clinical services teams.
• Schedule appointments and enter patient history and tests in the system.
• Assist management with patient issue resolution and status updates.
• Maintain brand standards and complete basic housekeeping duties.
• Prepare and edge lenses to expedite delivery of eyeglasses and ensure on-time delivery.
• Flag equipment or process issues in the lab area to management.
• Track delivery times to uphold Our Ready When Promised standard.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
