Job summary

Gather Health, a social primary care provider for older adults, seeks a Practice Operations Partner to welcome patients, manage front desk duties, and coordinate administrative tasks in our MA clinic. You will work with PCPs, patient liaisons, EMTs, and other admins to ensure smooth operations.

The role emphasizes insurance coordination, appointment scheduling, and supporting the care-team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care for a vulnerable population.

Qualifications

• Front desk experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for frequent patient interactions.
• Fluent English in verbal, written, and reading comprehension.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients as they enter the clinic and inform care-team members of arrival.
• Handle calls, messages, scheduling, form completion, and medication refills.
• Initiate insurance-related requests and coordinate transportation as needed.
• Process mail/faxes, organize documents, and assist with office tours.
• Support Practice Operations Manager with scheduling and supplies.
