Job summary

Gather Health in Massachusetts is seeking a Practice Operations Partner to greet patients, manage front-desk duties, and support the care team in a clinic setting.

You will handle incoming calls, schedule appointments, process insurance, and coordinate transportation, while collaborating with PCPs, patient liaisons, EMTs, and other staff to ensure exceptional service and efficient operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in front desk roles, preferably in healthcare.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English.
• Ability to handle calls, scheduling, and basic insurance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming patients and coordinating their arrival with the care team.
• Handling inbound/outbound calls and scheduling appointments.
• Processing insurance claims and collecting copays.
• Coordinating transportation and preparing documentation.
• Assisting with administrative tasks for the Practice Operations Manager.
