ProHealth Physicians, part of Optum, is seeking an Associate Patient Care Coordinator to join our Family Medicine team at the Marlborough location. You will greet patients, check them in/out, schedule appointments and manage inquiries using the EHR in accordance with policy.

The role supports care teams, may float to local practices, and requires professionalism, attention to detail, and patient-focused service. Benefits include a comprehensive package and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of receptionist or customer service experience.
• Intermediate level of computer proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsabilités

• Conduct check-in and check-out process.
• Answer incoming calls and use EHR to document details of patient inquiries.
• Conduct outreach to patients requiring appointments or service follow-up.
• Manage administrative in-basket pools and work queues.
• Scan documents into the EHR per standard protocols.
• Protect patients’ rights by maintaining confidentiality of medical, personal and financial information.
• Provide coverage at other ProHealth locations on an ad hoc basis.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
