Aufgaben

• Greet incoming patients with friendly, respectful communication.
• Document up-to-date demographics and insurance information.
• Accept patient payments and document accordingly.
• Assist billing office with problem resolution as necessary.
• Notify clinical staff that patient has arrived via the EMR.
• Schedule follow-up and ancillary appointments.
• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA and InterMed policies.
• Handle patient packets: scanning, printing, and mailing.
• Use the scheduling system to arrange necessary follow-ups.
