Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical coding and billing.
• Familiarity with OSHA, HIPAA and related regulations.
• Proficient with common PC applications (Internet, Email, Office).
• Ability to supervise, train and evaluate staff.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and provide courteous, efficient service.
• Verify insurance, collect co-pays, and update patient records.
• Enter registration data accurately into the system.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Balance daily charges and safeguard cash receipts.
• Assist with scheduling referrals and managing lobby area.
