Job summary

Integrity Care Group in the United States is seeking a patient service specialist to manage front desk operations, verify insurance, collect payments, and maintain patient data integrity while delivering outstanding service in the lobby.

You will greet patients, capture registration details, enter data, confirm coverage, follow HIPAA guidelines, support referrals, and help keep the lobby stocked and compliant in a fast-paced medical office.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate degree preferred.
• Current BLS certification required.
• 1–3 years of medical office experience preferred.
• Understanding of medical coding and billing.
• Knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA regulations.
• Proficient with PC applications (Internet, Email, MS Office).
• Ability to supervise, train, and evaluate staff.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients politely and informs on delays; ensures smooth patient flow.
• Obtains registration data, insurance information, and photo ID.
• Enters patient data accurately into the computer system.
• Verifies insurance and collects co-pays, co-insurance, and deductibles.
• Maintains confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines.
• Balances daily charges and safeguards payments.
• Manages patient charts and coordinates referrals.
• Supports staff and assists in scheduling referrals.
